The national FFA covention has been a very fun and exciting event for the FFA since
1928. For the past few years approximately 50,000 FFA members, advisors, sponsors, and guests have gathered in Louisville,
Kentucky, to participate in all the festivities.
At the covention the National FFA Career Development Events (CDEs) are held, winners
for the National Chapter and National Star Awards are chosen, and each state is represented by voting delegates
who conduct the national organization's business.
While at the covention one gets to hear top-notch speakers, experience educational
tours and leadership conferences, enjoy social events, and visit the National Agricultural Career Show, but most of all
you make life-long frienships with fellow FFA members from throughout the country.
This year's National FFA Covention was a blast!
Eleven students from Sand Rock High was allowed the opportunity to join in on the fun. The students participated in such
events or activities as the Opening Ceremonies, a Hyptnosis show, toured the Louiville Slugger plant, attended an ATV workshop,
and much much more!
